Stearman projektet del 16 / Part 16

Nu när jag i stort är färdig med renoveringen samt känner mig hyfsad klar och "hemma" i mina nya hobbyrum så har jag tagit upp mitt pågående Stearman projekt, nu del 16...../ after my renovation and uppbuild of my new hobby rooms it´s finally time to work on my Stearman project, so this is part 16.

Jag har gjutit av mina "dyr" inköpta landställs kåpor ifrån USA och nu måttat in mina kopior och det blev inte mycket kvar...!!! mina orginal kåpor är avsedda för Balsa of USA byggsatserna medans min Stearman är ifrån Schneider/Österrike o. mina landställ är mycket kraftigare (kanske kan behövas!) än BoUSA....därför måste jag modda kåporna....Men nu känns det riktigt bra och ikväll är dom på plats och limmade....nu återstår att fin spackla för att få en mjuk och snygg övergång.  / I have now made some copies of my "expensive" glasfiber covers for the landing gears and as u can se from my pictures there ain´t much material left from the originals...!! Today I carved, cut and grinded and then finally epoxied these in place.

Jag passade också på, medans epoxin härdar att bygga färdigt min Plast byggsats av en ASK 21 seglare ifrån Revell. En liten läcker modell som pryder sin plats i mitt nya hobby rum....det fanns massor av dekaler för att göra lite olika versioner och jag fastnade för den kärran som finns vid Wasserkuppe/Tyskland. Så ett projekt mindre...../ while waiting for the epoxy to cure and harden I finished the build of my Revell glider kit of the ASK 21....this was really fun and I can recommend this kit if u want a small and cute glider in yr building room, its so neat!!..i veckan fortsätter jag med Stearman kärran och på fredag flyger jag till Luxemburg för att hälsa på mina barnbarn mm o. sedan på lördag morgon bilar vi till Levigno/Italien för att åka skidor under en vecka...GÖTT.......testade lite i dag i vår slalom backe härr på Mösseberg o. i strålande solsken o. lagomt kallt....kändes riktigt bra, formen sitter i....Forca Italia.....!!  in this coming week I will continue on the Stearman and on Friday I fly to Luxembourg to visit my daughters family and on Saturday morning we travel together by car to Lavigno/Italy for a weeks ski holiday....Forca Italia...!!!Just go for it..!! and in the meantime "U take Care"..!!!

Nya Hobby rummet klart/ My NEW Hobby Room is Finished...PART 2

Då var min NYA Hobbylokal färdig inredd......efter ca 2 veckors hårt arbete med att snickra bänkstativ, bänksskivor, måla golv, inreda, skruva dit fönster galler mm. samt flytta allt material som varit utsprida lite överallt....Resultatet blev riktigt bra....där jag nu fått 2st hyfsat stora byggrum med 4st arbets bänkar på tot. ca 20 lpm....samt 2st förvarings rum med div. hyllor och bänkar....Så nu är det bara att börja bygga vidare på ex min stora Stearman samt så har jag 4st projekt i pipen som också kan påbörjas....bl.a en Spitfire, the Beast (den stora!) Pylon seglare, mm

// Yes, finally after appr. 2 weeks of hard work with the installation of my NEW Hobby Rooms I can start and continue on my BIG Stearman and 4 other projects (Spitfire, the Beast, Pylon Glider a.o.)  in the "pipe-line". My new rooms consist of 2 big building rooms with 4 working benches with appr. 20 running meters and 2 storage rooms. Looking at all modells that I have spread out in different locations I could use another 3-4 rooms, and thats only for storage...!!! Oh My God...!!
